ITINERARY : Heli Route (10N 11D from Lucknow )

Day 1: Lucknow Arrival
 Arrive at Lucknow, & reach Hotel.
 Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel. (Hotel Check-in after 1:00 pm, Dinner included).
 (Meal : Dinner, Stay : Twin sharing basis in Hotel)

Day 2: Lucknow to Neaplgunj.
 After breakfast we will drive around 4-5 hrs in AC coach for Nepalgunj.
 Yatra briefing in evening.
 Overnight at Nepalgunj in Hotel Siddhartha / Cygnet or similar.
 (Meal : B, L, D, Stay : Twin sharing basis)

Day 3: Nepalgunj – Simikot- Hilsa – Purang
 Early Morning drive to Airport and catch flight for Simikot
 Fly to Hilsa by Helicopter, wait for other group traveller and then drive to Purang.
 Overnight stay at Hotel. Its 40-50 minutes flight from Nepalganj to Simikot & then 10-20
minutes helicopter flight from Simikot to Hilsa.

 In some cases, we stay at Simikot / Hilsa in guest house for 3rd night & then move for Purang
on 4th Day.

Day 4: Acclimatization at Purang.
 A short trek and accilimatization may be taken in preparation for Mount Kailash Parikrama.
Overnight stay at Hotel . (Meal : B, L, D ; Purang Stay : Triple sharing in Hotel)
 You can buy trekking sticks, water gallon for keeping Holy Mansarovar Water. Some
bargaining happens here at almost all shops. (Meal : B, L, D ; Triple sharing Hotel stay)

Day 5: Purang to Mansarovar Lake
 Drive roughly 2 hours in AC Volvo category bus to Mansarovar Lake and then Parikrama of
Mansarovar Lake.
 Complete Holy Lake Parikrama of approx. 105 KMs. While coming to Mansarovar Lake you
will get the first view of Kailash today & Rakshastal.
 Overnight stay at Guest House near Lake Mansarovar.
 If weather permits, you can visit to Lake Mansarovar in night or early morning (Brahm
Muhurt) too to witness the divinity of the place. (Meal : B, L, D; Multiple sharing stay in Guest
House / Dormitory)

Day 6: Mansarovar to Darchen.
 After short drive from Lake Mansarovar you will reach to Darchen which is base for Kailash
Parikrama. Evening is free for rest & preparation for Kailash Parikrima.

Day 7: First Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash.
 After break, we will drive to Yamdwar and then trek to Dirapuk. Enjoy the darshan of North
Face of Mount Kailash during first day of Parikrama
 Travel from Yamdwar to Darchen for approx. 30 minutes and stay there in Guest House for 2
nights. (for those not doing parikrama)

 Note: **Parikrama is optional. Those who are not doing the parikrama will return from Yam
Dwar to Hotel at Darchen / Purang. We will arrange meals & accommodation there. Mount
Kailash is easily visible from there. People staying at Darchen / Purang will join other group
members in 1st half once they complete 3rd day of Parikrama.

Day 8: Second Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash
 Early morning start trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and then Zuthulpuk.
 From Dolma La Pass descend to Gauri Kund and further trek along with the Karnali river to
Zuthulpuk followed by an overnight stay – Guest House / Dormitory .

 First 6-7 KM (till Dolma La Pass at 5600 m) of 2nd day has very steep climb & most difficult
part of Yatra. . After 1st 6-7 KM, remaining 16 KMs are comparatively comfortable.
Important: On Parikrama (Day 2), you will pass through Shivasthal and Gauri Kund. After Dolma
La Pass its long pleasant trekking way beside river. You will see the East face of Mount Kailash
here.

Day 9: Drive to Purang
 Third day Parikrama is of 8 KMs and takes around 3 hours to complete. Generally it gets
completed by 9:00 to 10:00 am. After drive to Darchen, continue drive to Purang.
 Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10 : Hilsa – Neaplgunj – Lucknow
 Drive to Hilsa by AC luxury vehicle, fly back to Simikot by Helicopter then to Nepalgunj by
flight & then drive to Lucknow.
 Overnight stay at deluxe Hotel.

Day 11: Lucknow
 After breakfast you will be free to proceed for your home destination.
